Welcome to the marketing event of the fall, September 9, 10, 11, and 12th 2010 – an opportunity to show case your product, business, or organization with exposure to approximately 20,000 people that attend the fair.

Attached is an application, contract, and layout of the show areas.

As in the past, the following which are stated in the contract, will be in effect:

1. The renter must supply his or her own tables, chairs & extension cords.

2. A Separate deposit cheque for $100.00 is required at the time of rental . This will be returned to you on Sunday between 3:30 and 4 PM if your display is still up and running. The deposit is required to encourage displayers from leaving early.

3. ADFF takes no responsibility for security of your product while the buildings are open to the public. Security will only be in effect when the building is closed.

Welcome to International Food Fair

Dear Participant:

Please find the application for the International Food Fair Booths Here, and the contract for the Fall Fair 2010 International Food Booths Here.

The booth rental space is staying the same as 2009; however we now have to figure in the HST separately, this will need to be paid with the rental fee, even though hasn’t take effect as of yet, but because you take possession of the rental space in Sept. the HST is in effect. The Alberni District Fall Fair requires all vendors to provide a certificate of insurance, naming the Alberni District Fall Fair as an additional insured. The Fair is “Going Green” and to help achieve this lofty goal, we are asking that all food vendors use bio degradable paper products. A list of some acceptable products and where they can be purchased is attached to this letter. There will be a card board dumpster on site again, for you to break down all your boxes and dispose of them.

Coke products are to be purchased directly from the Coke Rep only, if you are serving pop you will be required to use their products, not purchasing at a discount elsewhere. The Coke Rep. will be in touch with you to set up an account and be on site to fill your orders Thursday morning. New this year, the fair will oversee your needs for most additional coke products you may have run out of over the week-end, you will be required to fill in a chit and present the chit with a cash payment to the office before receiving the product. The products will be held on the fair site. Coolers will be available to rent at a cost of $150.00 for the duration of the fair. If you need a cooler, please indicate on your application form as Coke will only bring in coolers for those vendors who have pre ordered one. Please read these documents over carefully, fill out the application form and return with the booth rental fee, plus your damage deposit of $100.00 to the Alberni District Fall Fair. Your damage deposit will be returned to you at the conclusion of the fair, providing you have complied with the contract.

There is always a great demand to rent space in the International Foods so don’t delay in returning your application as it will be on a first come basis.
